Kyle will lead the sales and marketing efforts for Humboldt Commons at the new Sales Office in McKinleyville. Humboldt Commons, the first nonprofit senior living community specifically designed for adults aged 62 and older on California’s North Coast, is the vision of the nonprofit, grassroots-led organization, Life Plan Humboldt.

Kyle will serve as a centralized resource and advocate for prospective residents, helping them understand all that the community has to offer, available contract structures and the logistics of moving to Humboldt Commons.

Kyle’s responsibilities include coordinating marketing events, managing customer relationship systems and, most importantly, serving as a trusted resource to guide prospective residents through the entire journey – from initial inquiry to move-in.

Kyle will work closely with The Kendal Corporation and the Life Plan Humboldt Board to position Humboldt Commons as a model for intentional aging rooted in community values.

“My career has been built in relationship-centered environments that prioritize listening, empathy and long-term connection – values that align closely with the values of Humboldt Commons. I’m excited to work with the team in this amazing area I call home, to benefit future residents and the surrounding community,” shares Kyle.

Kyle brings extensive experience in relationship-driven sales and business development. His background includes sales territory management for a major international company, operations leadership in a family-owned business, and experience as a licensed insurance agent and wholesale account executive in mortgage sales. He also coordinated logistics and promotional activities for artists at a record label.

Kyle holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from New Mexico State University. Kyle’s unique and dynamic professional skillsets position him to be ideally suited to launch and grow Humboldt Commons.

“We are excited to welcome Kyle to our dynamic team of passionate staff and volunteers, and we are confident his expertise will promote awareness and interest in Humboldt Commons and assist future residents as they make the important decision to become one of the first residents of the community,” stated Ann Lindsay, board chair of Life Plan Humboldt.

Humboldt Commons and Kendal offer a forward-thinking approach to aging-in-community, emphasizing stewardship of the land, intergenerational connection, and resident-inspired design. As a Kendal Affiliate, the community benefits from The Kendal Corporation’s national-level support and proven track record in developing mission-driven senior living communities.

Kyle lives in McKinleyville with his wife Vanessa, their two dogs, and their cat. Kyle loves to cook – especially with Humboldt’s abundant local produce – in addition to enjoying the outdoors, from beach days in Trinidad to river days anywhere on the Trinity Highway.
